Lux Meter (“the App”) is a simple utility that uses your device’s built-in light sensor to provide ambient light readings.

Your privacy is important to us. Lux Meter is designed to collect as little information as possible and does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the App.

Information We Collect

Lux Meter does not require registration, a user account, or a subscription.

The App may collect limited, non-personalised analytics information about how it is used. This may include information such as:

• The number of times the App is opened;
• Which screens or features are viewed or used;
• General usage and interaction information;
• Basic technical information about the App and device, such as App version, operating system version, and device type.

This analytics information is used to understand how Lux Meter is used, identify problems, and help us improve the App.

We do not use this information to build advertising profiles or to provide personalised advertising.

Light Sensor Data

Lux Meter accesses your device’s built-in ambient light sensor in order to measure and display light levels.

Light sensor readings are used to provide the App’s light measurement functionality. We do not use light sensor readings to identify you or for advertising purposes.

Advertising

Lux Meter does not contain third-party advertising.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or use your information for personalised advertising.

Accounts and Payments

Lux Meter does not require you to create an account or log in.

There are no subscriptions required to use the App.

Analytics Services

Lux Meter may use a third-party analytics service to collect aggregated or non-personalised information about App usage.

Such services may process limited technical information in order to provide analytics functionality. Where a third-party analytics provider is used, its processing of information is also subject to its own privacy policy.

Analytics data is used only for purposes such as understanding App usage, monitoring performance, identifying issues, and improving Lux Meter.

Lux Meter is not designed to collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
